Christmas with the Norton's
Well, we hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and a Happy New Year. Christmas for us was so much fun this year since Addy was a little older. Rather than being more excited about tearing the paper and playing with the boxes, she was actually excited about the gifts she got. For some reason this year, we only took pictures at one of our Christmas gatherings. Below are some photos of Addy ripping into her gifts. If only I could have caught some of her surprised looks and gasps she made as she opened her gifts.....oh well....there's always next year. Jarid and I exchanged gifts on Christmas Eve, so that the only gifts under the tree in the morning were the ones that Santa brought for Addy. We put out cookies and milk, of course, for Santa and Addy was so excited that they were gone the next morning. Addy was so ready to tear into her presents on Christmas morning, that I could hardly get the camera out to video tape it. She was her own Santa that morning......she sat in front of the tree and grabbed which ever present she wanted to open next and went to town. It was a blast to watch. I've also included some photos of Addy playing in the snow for the first time in her snow gear......it was more like ice, but she had fun. Enjoy!
