So we took Addy to Old Navy a couple of weeks ago. We picked out this really cute swimming suit, a cover up and some jelly maryjane style shoes to go with the suit. Well, Addy picked out the shoes. She does not like flip flops at all!! That night I wanted to try on her swimming suit to make sure it fit. We put it on...it fit....so I told her to put her new shoes on and go show daddy how cute she looked. Apparently, she knows something I don't....about fashion. She decided a different pair of shoes would go better with the swimming suit.....so this is what she picked.....

Belly Update!

Hi All!! We took some more pictures of my growing belly....a week early this time. It's only been 3 weeks since the last batch of pictures, but as you can tell...I've grown quite a bit. I am 16 weeks 5 days in these pictures. The close up picture is a little blurry, but I had to add it. Addy has really started to notice my growing belly and she gives it a little rub here and there. She also notices, by my grunts, that it's already starting to get in my way and she seems concerned sometimes. She sympathizes with her mommy also, by telling me that her belly hurts because her baby sister is in her belly and she needs her bubble gum medicine to make it better. She's such a funny little girl.

Addy Entertainment

Hi Everyone!! Just thought I would add a video of Addy. She's quite the entertainer. She really knows her numbers!! 3 different languages, French, Spanish....well...we are working on her Spanish, and English. Maybe when "PawPaw Berto" gets back from Texas, he can help her perfect her Spanish.
The volume is a little loud so be prepared to turn it down a bit. Enjoy!!

Addy's Big Day

As most of you know....Addy had her tonsils and adenoids removed last Thursday, 1/29/09. We just wanted to let you all know that the surgery went very well....all 20 minutes of it! Addy is doing really well. It's amazing how fast they recover at this age. She goes back to school tomorrow already! I wanted to post some pictures of Addy before and after surgery. Recovery pictures start with her sleeping. She got about half way through her grape popsicle before she fell back onto her pillow and went back to sleep. She was a trooper though. We are so proud of her and can't wait until she's all healed and can breath better. Thank you to those who checked in on her.

Belly News

Hi All! Well, as promised, I am posting some pictures of my growing belly. I start my second trimester this week and couldn't be happier. The first trimester brought me a lot of nausea and, I'm sure Jarid would agree, just a tad of emotions. I'm starting to feel so much better now though. Addy is understanding a little better too, now that my belly is getting bigger. I have had some on lookers ask...."Are you sure there is only one?" I can only guess it's because my belly is bigger than they expect it to be. So, to answer that, and hopefully there isn't one hiding, I've also included our first ultrasound picture. I was only 12 weeks, so we don't know the sex of the baby yet. Don't worry...we'll let you know. The belly pictures were taken at 8 weeks and 13 weeks. I'm sure you can guess which one is which. Enjoy!
